Know More About Personal Branding
Every business person recognizes the importance of strong brands such as Coca-Cola, Nike, and Apple. These brands are a reflection of certain values. They help drive sales by ensuring that their products and services are always fresh in the mind of consumers.
Independent personal branding consultants must think in the same manner. It is important to remain at the forefront when a client needs your expertise.
It's not all about having a website or logo that is fancy. It's about being recognized for your expertise and being well-known. It's all about your reputation. It's all about how you are perceived at work and online. It's about how you present yourself and "go out to market." This is a continuous effort.

Steps to Create or Refine Your Personal Brand
1. Clarify your strengths and/or how you are different from other consultants. Personal branding is about being true to yourself, including your values, and strengths. Then, you can use that information to your advantage. Answer these questions to get started.
What makes you unique?
What are you most known for? What do you want to be known as?
What image do I project in the minds and hearts of others?
2. Create a "tagline", or a one-sentence summary. A tagline is a catchphrase, slogan or phrase that helps people remember a brand in a particular way. Some examples are also given below for better understanding:
Nike: Do It
American Express: You can't leave your home without it.
